WELCOME TO CARRAIG
Carraig Shepherd's Hut is located in a small paddock at the far side of a Galloway Steading in South West Scotland.
The views are wonderful and the tranquillity and peace of the surroundings make a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
This is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Here you are close to the Sea, to Lochs, Mountains and Moorland, to Castles and Ruins and Ancient history.

Lulled by the gulf stream, unexpectedly, palm trees grow. Cows and sheep graze the lush green fields.
The sky seems vast. The quality of light has long inspired artists, both home-grown and from further afield. There is something special about the land here that instills creativity in all its forms.
Carraig looks like it has always been a part of this landscape.
